For an example of search’s ever-changing environment, look no further than a popular search on Google. Search for “Xbox 360” and you will see more than just organic results from websites that mention those keywords. A high-quality social media campaign that is interactive and engages audiences can improve search engine rankings on two fronts — both in organic listings and as a source of inbound links. The bottom line is that basic SEO concepts are still critical, just not by themselves. In order for SEO campaigns to be truly effective they need to be paired with smart marketing campaigns that involve every aspect of a company’s online brand. As with any marketing campaign, it’s very important to think about your target audience when designing an SEO campaign and how and where you can most effectively reach them.</p>

Before we can begin to analyze how your website is performing, we first need to know what to expect. Realistic expectations will keep your view of your SEO results realistic as well. After all, you type in a search term and click a button and the results for that search are returned to you, right? That’s right, but the data collected by directories and search engines, and the way those search results are returned, are very different. In fact, directories and search engines differ in three fundamental ways:</p>

<li>How they collect data</li>
<li>The search results</li>
<li>How those search results are ranked</li>

<p>Yahoo! is one of the most well-known search directories on the Internet. It was one of the first names in search, and it remains one of the stronger players in the search market. However, there are dozens of other directories available online, and, like search engines, these search directories can be very specialized, so that entries cover a single topic or a related group of topics. Search directories can also be implemented within an organization, so that you can list and find all the important documentation your company owns.<br />
The advantage of these highly targeted search directories is not traffic volume of the sort you would receive from a search engine or a general search directory; what’s important here is the quality of the traffic you receive. Specific search directories attract specific users who are searching for specific items. This means that their chances of reaching a goal conversion on your site (assuming your site is targeted correctly) are much higher than those of visitors who come from search engines.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Search engines cannot read your mind. Therefore, if you want a web page to rank for a specific keyword or keyword phrase, you need to use it cleverly within your web page. By using the keyword or keyword phrase throughout a web page, you will help the search engines identify the central topic of that web page. So this means the more you use the more you get? Not exactly, Google and other search engines uses keyword density as a method to understand what the content is all about.<br />
Generally speaking, keyword density is the ratio of the word that is being searched for (the keyword) against the total number of words appearing on your web page. If your keyword occurs only once in a page of one thousand words, it has a lower keyword density than a keyword that occurs four times in a page of similar length.<br />
We aim for a keyword density of 1% to 7% as a rule of thumb. To achieve 1% we insert your keyword or keyword phrase once for every hundred words. If we only used your keyword once in one thousand words, this would result in diluting your keyword density. For an article to be effective, you want to be sure that its keyword density is between 3 and 5%.</p>
<ul>
<li>1. When planning a page, we think about which search terms a user is likely to use when searching for the information your site provides. We use several tools to research your keywords. These tools will show how many times a particular keyword was searched for each month. It’s no point including keywords in your web pages that nobody searches on.</li>
<li>2. After we have collected your list of keywords, we NOT simply dump those keywords into a senseless list on your web page. Selecting two or three of your most important keywords related to your business and try to use them 3-7 times for every 100 words in your web copy. if I have a piece of content that says “The most important aspects of natural SEO is keyword density”, “SEO” as a keyword has a 10% keyword density (as it appears once in 10 words).</li>
<li>3. Incorporating these keywords or keyword phrases in your title, description meta tag, keyword meta tag, alt tags (words that describe your images) comment tags, heading tags and main text of your web copy is another part of SEO<br />
For example, <a href="http://www.blitz-event-marketing.com/" target="_blank">&#8220;Click Here For Blitzkrieg Event Marketing procedures&#8221;</a><br />
If we would use this type of linking as in the example the Search Engines would pick all the “Click Here” hyper links and would think that the words “click here” are keywords that describe the content of your web site. So remove all the “Click Here’s” and replace them with keywords that describe your web site. That is the only way to increase your keyword density when you are using links.</li>
<li>4. In order to be effective for internet marketing your articles should be between 400 and 600 words, longer is alright. Search engines will spider the text near the top of the page, rather than at the bottom. Therefore include your keywords in the first 250 words on your page.</li>
